When Salvador and a colleague give alternate accounts of events to police investigating an abandoned car outside the construction site where they both work, Salvador unwillingly becomes enmeshed in a cover-up that prevents him from accompanying his wife as she goes into labor.

Part noir, part social commentary, Diego Ros’s debut explores the culture of silence to which many Mexicans adhere. The use of isolated, vacant spaces underscores the atmosphere of tension in the excellently scripted thriller that delves into some of the darker facets of life in Mexico City.
