Class meets two Wednesdays: March 23rd & 30th, from 7:00–9:00 pm.

Get inspired and learn about the photographers that made photography an art form! In this course, students will learn about photography’s role throughout the 20th and 21st centuries and improve their ability to talk about photographs by looking at and discussing well-known photographers and photographs from the past. A brief technical history of photography, as well as information about historic camera types, will also be covered. Using lecture, hands-on tutorials and class activities, students will gain an understanding of antiquated photographic process as well as their impact on current photographic technology.
