  Cambodian, Torso of a Deity (probably Vishnu), c. 7th century, sandstone, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, gift in loving memory of Carol Crow by her children Nancy C. Allen, Emmet Polk Crow III, Fan Crow Morris, Fairfax Crow Randall, and by her devoted friends Hiram Butler, Devin Borden, and Louisa Sarofim.

Guests can join curatorial staff from the Asian art department on this 45-minute exploration of the Arts of Asia galleries. Each "Encountering Asia" tour focuses on art from a different geographical area or prevalent theme in Asian art. The works on view span the Neolithic period to the Modern era, with examples ranging from paintings and sculptures to metalwork and ceramics.
