Meditation Mini-Retreat: Deepening Your Practice On and Off the Cushion (LIVESTREAMING)

Friday, May. 8, 2020 – Friday, May. 8, 2020

01:30 PM – 04:00 PM
US/Central

BODY-MIND-AND-SPIRIT-240X240 (2)

This livestreaming program can be taken from home or anywhere with an internet connection. If you register, you will be emailed viewing instructions prior to the event.

All times are CDT. Please contact Mary Oleyar at [email protected], or 713.524.8253 x23 with any questions. Learn more about online learning.

Discover how the Tibetan understanding of well-being can enrich our meditation practices. We will develop a sense of embodied meditation using awareness of breath, visualization, concentration of the mind, body movements, and the perception of sounds as embodied energy. We will learn to integrate the growing sense of completeness developed through these practices into our lives outside of meditation, and we will strive to achieve a relaxed yet aware state of mind and a healthier lifestyle that goes beyond the meditation cushion.<
