Through exciting new collaborations within the community, Family Day Fiesta will feature expanded programming for audiences of all ages, including:
- Educational, hands-on art workshops for children and their families presented in partnership with the Multicultural Education and Counseling through the Arts (MECA).
- Artist Richard Garcia’s site-specific chalk-art drawing created on behalf of The Center for Hearing and Speech’s Via Colori.
- Families are invited to journey to the MFAH for a scavenger hunt from 3 to 5 pm. Families who participate in the scavenger hunt will gain free general admission to the MFAH.
