This year's 6th annual conference has been reinvigorated to bring the most contemporary health challenges and solutions facing communities across the globe together with top researchers in the world’s largest medical center, the Texas Medical Center.

Teens who are currently in 9th through 12th grade will converge at The Health Museum for this five-day interactive summit.  Participants will gain real-world medical career experience at a variety of sessions including diagnostic technologies, real-life simulated surgical procedures, hands-on dissections and suturing techniques, true-to-life medical simulations and discussions with Houston's top medical experts and medical school students.  While exploring cutting-edge technology which expands the boundaries of what we can see, understand or treat, students will hear about innovative collaborations between traditionally unrelated fields and delve into scientific discoveries and policies with both local and global implications.

Students will enjoy exciting field trips and social activities including scheduled visits to MD Anderson School of Health Professions, Houston Methodist Research Center, Ben Taub Hospital, and the UT Health Science Center, as well as hear from experts throughout the medical community.  Excitement follows each hardworking day with live bands, city tours of the nation’s 3rd largest city and lodging at the prestigious Rice University campus.
