What is energy medicine? Does it work? More and more, 21st century health care is based upon an integrative care model that combines physical, psychosocial, and energy medicine approaches involving body, mind, and dimensions of consciousness. In this introductory lecture, we explore the science of energy healing and the research supporting the efficacy of modalities such as Emotional Freedom Technique and Healing Touch. A guided and self-directed experience of energy medicine concludes the lecture.
About the Class
Ramona Rolle-Berg, PhD, and Renee Rolle-Whatley, PhD, are integrative medicine researchers, board certified practitioners of Healing Touch, authors, speakers, entrepreneurs, and former engineers. They received their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Stanford, and their doctorates in Mind Body Medicine from Saybrook University. They have a private practice dedicated to empowering clients seeking to optimize their health autonomy.

- Do not park in the lot behind the MFAH building on weekdays before 5 pm. However, the museum does generously allow Jung Center patrons to park in the lot after 5 pm and on the weekend. Paid parking available in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building. Parking is always at a premium in the Museum District during business hours, but parallel parking spaces can often be found in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building.
