Guests can stop by the Discovery Box cart during Happy Hour Thursdays and do something they can’t do anywhere else in the Museum—touch and feel the materials from which works of art are made. The Discovery Boxes focus on six different art-making techniques: oil painting; gold-ground painting; ceramics; beadwork and carvings; sculpture; and printmaking.
