¡Que vivan los niños! Hooray, kids! "Children's Day" honors kids on various days in many places around the world. In Mexico, it is celebrated on April 30 and is known as "El día del niño." The Museum’s weeklong celebration will focus on the joys of being a kid and on enriching kids’ lives with literacy.

ONGOING ACTIVITIES:

Crumpled Paper Art: Turn crumpled paper into a work of art in Alexander Art Academy.
Are You My Mother?: Match the baby animal to its mom at Ecostation.
The World is Waiting For You: Write and draw your next great adventure at Ecostation.
What Does the Fox Say?: Read Ylvis’ book and make a mask full of foxy fun at Junktion.
Swinging Monkeys: Read Ziefert and Tobacks’ “Swing Like a Monkey!” at Junktion.
Thaumatrope Spinner: Combine storytelling with the power of illusion at Junktion.
Write It, Do It!: Practice descriptive writing and instruction delivery at Science Station.

HOURS & ADMISSION

Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Thursday, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Closed Mondays. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday.
General Admission: $17 per person and $16 for seniors 65 years and older. FREE for children under one and Museum Members. Free Hours: FREE FAMILY NIGHT: Thursdays 5 pm - 8 pm.
