Creative Parenting: Roots and Wings

This two-part parenting class, which continues in the spring semester, will address parenting roles in a stressed culture and tasks for creating a nurturing environment for communication and creativity to flourish, while fostering autonomous, responsible, caring kids.
This class is for anyone wanting to become a better parent, whether married or single. Format will be lectures, sharing, handouts and videos. Feel free to bring a lunch.

Herb Agan, EdD, is a Jungian-oriented psychologist and family therapist, practicing in Houston for 35 years. Along with his own inner work, he studies theology, history, psychology and personal wholeness. He often speaks to business, community and religious groups, while, also, serving on the adjunct faculty in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston for the past 17 years. A grandfather to five, he enjoys discovering the wonders of being fully human and alive.

- Do not park in the lot behind the MFAH building on weekdays before 5 pm. However, the museum does generously allow Jung Center patrons to park in the lot after 5 pm and on the weekend. Paid parking available in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building. Parking is always at a premium in the Museum District during business hours, but parallel parking spaces can often be found in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building.
