Spring is a season in which many Asian cultures celebrate the new year. This family event will focus particularly on Holi, Nowruz, and Sonkgran. Projects will examine the vibrant multisensory experiences, cultural significance, and popular traditions of these holidays across South and Southeast Asia.

Hanami Pastoral Collage
Envision an idyllic Japanese spring setting using natural materials for a traditional bridge and cherry blossoms. Recommended for ages 4 and older.
Nowruz Hyacinths
Design a colorful tactile floral decoration to celebrate the Persian New Year. Recommended for ages 4 and older.
Spring Paint and Sand Art Creations
Enjoy a project combining the vibrant colors of Holi and the use of water during Songkran. Recommended for ages 4 and older.
