Guests can go Behind-The-Scenes with museum experts and get the inside scoop on the Museum’s fascinating exhibitions during a Behind-The-Scenes Tour with our curators and master docents.

During each exclusive tour, the guide will explore the exhibit, sharing riveting stories and answering questions.

Out of the Amazon
HMNS has an unparalleled Amazonia collection which is made up of rare artifacts from thirteen tribes. Priceless pieces of the collection-ceremonial objects, masks, body costumes, headdresses and more-are on display in the special exhibition Out of the Amazon. Guests can tour this temporary exhibition with HMNS master docents who share stories of everyday life among rapidly disappearing indigenous groups.

Parking is available in our 6-story garage located on Caroline just south of Hermann Drive. The parking garage is $10 for museum members and $30 for all others. Some free parking is available near the Museum entrance and in Hermann Park. Click here for details.
