The Jung Center

The Sensation of Emotion

Saturday, Apr. 30, 2016

10:00 AM – 01:00 PM
US/Central

BODY-MIND-AND-SPIRIT-240X240

Tune in to your body and learn to experience emotion as sensation. Emotions are visceral responses coupled with thoughts, and the thoughts we generate tend to perpetuate emotional upset. When we are grounded in body-centered awareness, we can uncouple our physical sensations from the thoughts that tend to cascade into stories that further upset us.

In this small group workshop, we will learn to connect with our bodies’ innate, authentic feedback system and meet emotional upset from our more peaceful center. Bring a journal and dress comfortably to accommodate stretching, breathing and movement.
