Inner City Youth Outdoor Exploration Program: Spring Break History Camping Trip

Boys ages 10-17 years old will engage in a series of outdoor activities, explore buffalo Soldier Historical Sites, camp, hike, and enjoy the natural resources of Texas from March 14-18, 2016.

Campers will visit Ft. Lancaster, Ft. McKavett, and Ft. Concho Historical Sites. Ft. McKavett will serve as the base site. Participants will stay in Historic Buffalo Soldier Barracks for four nights at Ft. McKavett.

About the Programs & Activities

Camp enrollment is free; however, participants must register. Space is limited, sign up now. Deadline March 5 at 4 pm. Registration forms are available at the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum or on the Museum's website: www.buffalosoldiermuseum.com.

  • Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm
    Closed Sundays and Mondays; Holiday Closures: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
  • General Admission: $10 per person; $5.00-Students, Seniors 62+, and Military w/ID;  5 and under Free
