Exclusively for academically gifted, high school students with an interest in medical sciences, this four-day conference explores the challenges and solutions facing modern day medicine with leading experts from the world renowned Texas Medical Center.
Through a variety of sessions on topics ranging from cutting-edge diagnostic technologies to astounding advances in neuroscience and nanotechnology to the debate surrounding national health care policy, this unique experience deepens the understanding of medical science and introduces a variety of medical-related career paths to explore.
The 2015 Conference, themed Exploring New Frontiers in Biomedicine, includes site visits to The Methodist Hospital Research Institute, The University of Texas Health & Science Center at Houston, The School of Health Professionals at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Ben Taub Hospital.
