When Sam Gainer’s parents showed him how to use the Brownie Hawkeye camera they took on family vacations back in the 1950s, they did not realize the spark they had ignited. It was the beginning of a life-long passion for both travel and photography that would eventually take Sam to over 146 countries around the world. His tenacity in tracking, chasing and waiting for the perfect shot enables him to capture his subjects at the moment that epitomizes their essence.
