Saturday Sketch: Drawing the Figure
Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 – Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Come out to the MFAH for this in-gallery sketch program and hone your drawing skills with teaching artist Melissa Aytenfisu. Each iteration of “Saturday Sketch“ explores a different technique, subject matter, and/or approach to drawing in the Museum’s galleries.
This session focuses on the proportions of the human figure, using sculptures and paintings from the MFAH art collections as models. Supplies are provided, including paper and brand-new drawing pencils for you to take home. Do you have your own sketchbook? Feel free to bring that along as well!
• The next “Saturday Sketch” takes place on December 14.
• $15 ($10 for MFAH members)
