Resilience: Bouncing Back When the Going Gets Tough

Saturday, Jul. 11, 2015

10:00 AM – 04:00 PM
US/Central

Why do some respond to adversity by growing stronger while others fall apart? What are the traits that will make you more resilient? When taken in and metabolized, both positive and negative experiences can become a enduring sources of inner stability and strength. We build resilience by mastering challenges, working our “edge,” and finding meaning even in difficult situations. Resilience is not just an attribute of individuals--it exists potentially in relationships, families, and work groups.

Through presentation and discussion participants will learn to differentiate and respond most effectively to hassles, disasters, and catastrophes.
