Educators ready for hands-on, minds-on activities that explore money, financial literacy, community, careers and more can learn the ins and outs of earning, spending and saving. Educators can visit Kidtropolis, USA at CMH to see how the museum teaches career development and financial literacy through hands on activities that can easily be implemented in any classroom. This workshop will provide teachers with cross-curricular activities that have been aligned with current Social Studies and Mathematics TEKS.
Ideal for: 3rd - 5th Grade Teachers
Participants receive a curriculum guide, four passes for a return visit to the Museum, a certificate for three CPE credits and discounted parking. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
