Are you an amateur photographer? The Gardens of Bayou Bend provide a unique opportunity! On Saturdays, capture the beautiful blooms, gorgeous woodlands, and formal landscapes through your own lens. Please note the guidelines below.

About the Recurring Event

Photographers must agree not to publish or sell their photos for profit and must not disturb other guests. No lighting equipment, tripods, or monopods are permitted. Photography is limited to still images and does not include filming or video. "Photography in the Gardens" is intended for images of the garden spaces themselves and may not be used for engagement and bridal photography, or for commemorative photos of events not related to Bayou Bend (such as anniversaries or quinceañaras). Any accompanying guests dressed in costume-style clothing—including, but not limited to, gowns, Easter outfits, etc.—may or may not be admitted, at the discretion of Bayou Bend staff.

    • Monday (Except selected holidays) | Closed.
    • Tuesday | Closed.
    • Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day | Closed.
  • Admission to the gardens is $7.50 for adults, $6 for seniors (65+) and students with ID, and $5 for ages 10–18. Children 9 and younger are admitted free.
