Child-directed play is a deeply embedded and essential tool for processing the world but finding time and space for tinkering, exploring and discovering can be a challenge to fit in between life’s many responsibilities.
This workshop for parents with children between 0-5 years old will provide an overview of the many benefits of play and tips on how to set up environments that encourage creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills.

Thursday, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Closed Mondays. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday. - General Admission: $17 per person and $16 for seniors 65 years and older. FREE for children under one and Museum Members. Free Hours: FREE FAMILY NIGHT: Thursdays 5 pm - 8 pm.
