The Menil Collection and surrounding nonprofit organizations present their annual community arts festival, a free afternoon of exhibitions, performances, and readings that extends across the Menil neighborhood. The Gulf Coast Indie Book Fair (produced By Gulf Coast: A Journal of Literature and Art) features literary journals and small-press books alongside local booksellers.
