trunkshow

Houston-based artist and jewelry maker Kari Breitigam creates minimalist statement jewelry. Her limited-edition designs combine fiber, clay, metal, and hand-dyed textiles using natural fibers such as linen, cotton, and silk. Many of her pieces are inspired by ancient jewelry designs, particularly those of ancient Rome and Egypt.

Join us at the Menil Bookstore, located across from the main museum building at 1520 Sul Ross Street, for a special opportunity to view and purchase Breitigam’s jewelry work. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
