The groundbreaking production of internationally celebrated Colombian artist Beatriz González spans more than six decades. Beatriz González: A Retrospective represents one of the most comprehensive displays of the artist’s work to date.
This expansive look at the artist’s unique and influential practice features her most iconic works, ranging from paintings, drawings, and prints to curtains, recycled furniture, and everyday objects. The selections are culled from the artist’s personal collection as well as from public and private collections in Colombia, Europe, and the United States.
MFAH members are invited to sign up for this tour that explores the exhibition with a Museum docent and encourages everyone to discuss the art together.
