The John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science will host MD Anderson Day on Thursday, July 26, during the museum’s Free Family Thursday program. The event is an opportunity for MD Anderson Cancer Center to showcase healthy living and wellness resources for the public and educate museum visitors on ways to reduce their cancer risks. The programs and information featured at MD Anderson Day increase awareness of the variety of measures that people can take to make healthier lifestyle choices.
Activities include Tai Chi demonstrations, an inflatable walk-through breast cancer exhibit, a breast cancer risk reduction presentation, anti-tobacco and cancer prevention information displays, a giant wall to sign and write messages to loved ones affected by cancer, photo booths to create gifs with cool props, a body composition scale, and lots of fun giveaways!

Monday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
Sunday, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Special exhibits may require an additional fee - General Admission: $10 per adult; $8 per child (ages 3-12); $8 per senior (ages 65+); Free for members and children under 2 yrs. Free Hours: Free Family Thursdays 2 - 7 pm.
