Organized by Sydney Boyd, Rice Public Art will co-present a performance of "Inuksuit," a concert-length work for between 9 and 99 percussionists, by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Luther Adams. Featuring a land art installation by Falon Mihalic designed specifically for the performance at Rice, "Inuksuit" will bring musicians, many from the Shepherd School of Music, and community members together for the ultimate environmental piece. Directed by Doug Perkins and produced by Brandon Bell.

HOURS & ADMISSION

  • Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
    Hours change based on exhibition.
  • Free Hours: Always free and open to the public. Closed Sundays, Mondays, University Holidays, and during installation periods. Please check our website to confirm an exhibition is on view before planning your visit.
