What does it mean to become your authentic self? Why is it important? Does it really happen? Is it happening already? A true individual is rare in a world that exploits self-centered individualism. This class will explore Jung’s great work called individuation, the lifelong process of integrating our fragmented psyche toward a more actualized personality.
Class format is lectures, handouts, video clips, and fun, meaningful discussions. Recommended readings: "The Principle of Individuation, Murray Stein and Digesting Jung," Daryl Sharp
About the Class
Herb Agan, EdD, is a Jungian-oriented psychologist and family therapist, practicing in Houston for 35 years. He often speaks to business, community and religious groups while, also, serving on the adjunct faculty in clinical psychology at UH for the past 18 years.
