With unprecedented behind-the-scenes access, photographer Harry Benson captured some of the most vibrant and intimate portraits ever taken of the Beatles. His extensive portfolio includes iconic images of Muhammad Ali, Winston Churchill, Bobby Fischer, Greta Garbo, Michael Jackson, Martin Luther King Jr., and the Robert F. Kennedy assassination. His work has appeared in publications including Life, Vanity Fair, and The New Yorker. Now 86, the feisty workaholic Benson has no intention of stopping. In April, he becomes the recipient of New York’s International Center for Photography 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award.
