Filipino Cooking collage

In collaboration with Gerry's Grill and Filipino Young Professionals

In this food event for all ages, Gerry's Grill and Filipino Young Professionals will celebrate Filipino cuisine and culture with games, a lumpia-making workshop, talk, performance, and food tasting.

Filipino Young Professionals will talk about the history and types of food in Filipino cuisine, including the ingredients used, how food is prepared, and influences from different aspects of Filipino culture, and will even present a Filipino dance performance. Gerry's Grill will demonstrate how to make lumpia (a type of spring roll) with vegetarian and meat-based options. Participants will make their own lumpia and taste a variety of Filipino foods.

This workshop is designed for those with little to no experience, and is appropriate for all ages. Families with children, adults, and lifelong learners are welcome! At the end, you will leave with a new set of skills (and recipe) to try out at home.

Limited spots available: First 75 participants only. Tickets will not be available on the day of the program. Reserve your spot today!
