Celebrate Halloween at Asia Society Texas Center with a day of spooky, kid-friendly fun, featuring movies, a haunted ghost trail, trick-or-treating for Asian candy, ghost story writing workshops with Writers in the School (WITS), and design-your-own-yōkai (Japanese monster) workshops. From ghosts to aswang to fox spirits, families will embark on an adventure to discover supernatural characters and strange tales from across Asia.

Activities will be appropriate for all ages, with signage indicating any content that might be sensitive for younger participants.


Admission

Admission is free. Tickets must be purchased for the ghost story writing workshops and the yōkai design workshops.

    Thursday (free admission all day), 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
    Closed Monday and Tuesday and major holidays.
  • Explore Asia Admission: Six interactive stations; includes complimentary access to current exhibition in the Louisa Stude Sarofim Gallery. $15 per guest ages 13 and up. $9 per guest ages 7–12. Free for guests ages 6 and under and for Asia Society members. Louisa Stude Sarofim Gallery Admission Only: $8 per guest. Free for guests ages 6 and under and for Asia Society members.   Free exhibition admission on Thursdays from 12 pm – 7 pm, presented by Regions Bank.
