Lawndale Art & Performance Center

Call for Exhibition Proposals

Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016 – Thursday, Mar. 31, 2016

Lawndale Art Center is an alternative art space founded in 1979. For over 36 years, Lawndale has dedicated itself to the support of contemporary art with a particular focus on the work of Houston and Texas-based artists. Lawndale actively seeks Exhibition Proposals from artists and curators locally, regionally and nationally.

Lawndale accepts Exhibition Proposals on an on-going basis. All Exhibition Proposals are reviewed twice annually by Lawndale's Programming Committee, a diverse group of regional artists and arts professionals. Each Programming Committee Member serves on the PC for three years and is exempt from consideration for exhibitions at Lawndale during their tenure.

Exhibition Proposals received by the March 31, 2016 deadline will be considered for the August 2016 to May 2017 exhibition calendar.
