Through the prism of time, there is consensus for the contributions made by the African American soldier. They fought in every military campaign from the revolutionary war to the current engagement in the Persian Gulf. Each year we host a Gala to celebrate our birthday and honor military heroes. This year we are honoring Our Sergeants Major.
