This event is an Outdoor Education and Recreation Program which includes hands-on activity-based interpretive exhibits sponsored by the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum and the Buffalo Soldiers Heritage and Outreach Program of Texas Parks and Wildlife. The program is structured to interpret everyday life of the Buffalo Soldier while he served his tour of duty on the Texas frontier.

Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm
Closed Sundays and Mondays; Holiday Closures: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day - Outdoor Exhibition is free to the public. Admission to the museum is $5 for students and seniors, $10 for adults. Children under 6 years old are free.
