Ansel Adams was an American photographer, teacher, concert pianist and environmentalist. His black-and-white landscape photographs of the American West, especially Death Valley and the High Sierras including Giant Sequoia and Yosemite National Park with remote hard to access Lakes. Ansel Adams images have been widely exhibited and collected. The instructor will talk about Ansel Adams’ biography and will show a number of images together with the stories behind the images, based on Ansel Adams’ books and video.
