World AIDS Day Observance
Hosted by Legacy Community Health - Montrose (1415 California St. Houston, TX 77006)
Free and open to all, free parking available in lots onsite

Join us for a World AIDS Day Observance at Legacy Community Health - Montrose location. There will be a brief program with guest speakers, followed by a walking candlelight vigil.

Since the early 1980s, an estimated 36 million people have died from AIDS-related illnesses. Houston has the most people livingwith HIV/AIDS in Texas, a reality with vast consequences. Join us to remember those we have lost due to HIV/AIDS, and to raise awareness of how important it is to know your status and the facts about how to protect yourselves and others, and to ensure
everyone one has access to testing, prevention and treatment. Together we can end the epidemic.

During this World AIDS Day event, Legacy Community Health will be displaying the names of those we have lost to the AIDS epidemic. Please add the first and last names of those you wish to honor. The names will be shared again online in case any are not shown or are submitted too late to be included in our program. Please enter names online here. Deadline to submit names: Friday, November 22

World AIDS Day Testing Hours at Legacy Community Health - Montrose will take place from 4:00 – 8:00 PM
