We learn to love others while loving and accepting ourselves. How might we apply daily life lessons to polish our capacity for love so that it becomes deeper and more profound, not based on externals and the limiting desires/fears of ego consciousness? This class will explore key tasks of loving: connection, commitment, engagement, acceptance, and transcendence. Through lecture, discussion, and exercises, learn skills for developing a greater capacity "to love” -- understood as practice and sacrament (an outward sign of inner grace) rather than an emotion.
