Vanishing of the Bees with Erin Mills

Tuesday, Jun. 4, 2019 – Tuesday, Jun. 4, 2019

06:30 PM
US/Central

Honeybees have been mysteriously disappearing across the planet, literally vanishing from their hives. Known as Colony Collapse Disorder, this phenomenon has brought beekeepers to crisis in an industry responsible for producing hundreds of fruits and vegetables. Commercial honeybee operations pollinate crops that make up one out of every three bites of food on our tables. "Vanishing of the Bees" was filmed in Europe, Australia and Asia and examines this global crisis.

Join entomologist Erin Mills, director of the HMNS Cockrell Butterfly for this one-night-only screening of "Vanishing of the Bees."

Early Bird to 5/28 - Members $10, Tickets $16

Regular price starting on 5/29 - Members $14, Tickets $20
