Ready for a tasty new way to think about breakfast, lunch and dinner?  To MyPlate and Beyond helps kids become experts on the five food groups that are the building blocks for a healthy diet:  fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins and dairy.  This 2,500-square-foot exhibit lets kids explore the world of healthy eating with guides Max and Munch, who take guests on a healthy food adventure through this interactive learning tool.

The healthy food journey includes interactive games that allow kids to answer important questions such as: What is a grain? Can chocolate milk be a dairy serving? How many fruits should I eat each day?  Kids will answer these questions and more while exploring a grocery store setting; playing in a pantry where they pick foods and learn how to read labels; learning how to grow a garden and the importance of certain colors of fruits and vegetables that provide wellness benefits; and how to order the healthiest foods when at a restaurant or drive-through.
