The Children’s Museum of Houston is excited to host its 10th Annual Thanksgiving with Santa event.

Kids can make their own festive banner and vest, rock them in our indoor parade, then hang out with Santa.

About the Programs & Activities

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Great Gobbler Thanksgiving Elf Parade: Gobble, gobble! Design banners and Thanksgiving vests and pennants to wobble alongside our turkey during our colorful Thanksgiving Parade.

Event Times:

Thanksgiving vests, pennants and banner making from 10 a.m. to 12:30 pm in One World and Tree Top.

Cirque La Vie elves /noisemaker giveaway (while supplies last) at 12:45 pm in Brown Auditorium.

Thanksgiving Parade at 1 pm (limited to 160 visitors; first come-first serve) in Brown Auditorium.

Meet Santa: Have you been naughty or nice? Meet the man in red. Bring your wish list and camera!

Event Time: From 1 to 4 pm in the Brown Auditorium.

ON-GOING ACTIVITIES:

* Corn Painting: Have a corn-tastic time making Thanksgiving artwork at Alexander Art Academy.

* Fall Leaves Turkey: Ruffle feathers and make a turkey out of leaves at EcoStation.

* Turkey Leg Hat: Create a turkey leg hat which will leave you gobbling for days at Junktion.

* Great Gobbler Fan: Stay cool this November with a paper turkey fan at Junktion.

* Thank You Tree: Write a thank you leaf and place it on the Thank You Tree at Junktion.

HOURS & ADMISSION

Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Thursday, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Closed Mondays. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday.
General Admission: $17 per person and $16 for seniors 65 years and older. FREE for children under one and Museum Members. Free Hours: FREE FAMILY NIGHT: Thursdays 5 pm - 8 pm.

Parking fees: 1 hour - $8, 2 hours - $9, 3+ hours - $10. Metered and street parking are available around the Children's Museum Houston.
