Contemporary Arts Museum Houston is suspending all public events to support community-wide efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. As a result, we are looking for ways to bring some of the fun activities to you virtually.

Slowed and Throwed: Records of the City Through Mutated Lenses explores the late Houston legend DJ Screw and his impact on the Houston community and culture. Inspired by artists’ need to creatively share their community pride, explore ways to connect with your friends and family through art-making.

About Virtual Drop-In Experiences

CAMH’s Virtual Drop-In Experiences feature instructions for pop-up activities you can do at home. Each hands-on activity provides creative opportunities to experience current exhibitions from a distance in a unique and meaningful way.

Led by our FAQ Team (Frequently Asked Questions), a group of artists and historians who assist with contextualizing CAMH’s dynamic exhibitions for diverse audiences. Virtual Drop-In Experiences are released on our website at 1PM every Saturday. All ages, always free.
