Join us for a day of cultivating boundless friendliness through loving-kindness and mindfulness practices. The quality of loving-kindness can be developed through mindfulness and more specific practices that incline the heart toward goodwill. Through intentionally directing loving wishes toward ourselves, those we hold dear, those we don’t know well, those we find difficult, and all beings, we habituate the heart and mind towards kindness and generosity. This practice allows us to open ourselves to the wisdom and compassion that is already present inside us to the benefit of all beings.
Micki Fine, MEd, LPC
Micki Fine is the founder of Mindful Living and has been in private psychotherapy practice since 1989. She has taught Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction since 1994. She earned the credential of certified mindfulness teacher from the University of Massachusetts Medical School where Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn founded the Center for Mindfulness.

- Do not park in the lot behind the MFAH building on weekdays before 5 pm. However, the museum does generously allow Jung Center patrons to park in the lot after 5 pm and on the weekend. Paid parking available in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building. Parking is always at a premium in the Museum District during business hours, but parallel parking spaces can often be found in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building.
