Join HCCC for a piñata-making workshop as part of the summer exhibition, Justin Favela: All You Can Eat. Explore the whimsical sculptures on view in the exhibition to see how mixed-media artist Justin Favela crafts three-dimensional forms using piñata techniques. Then, make your own object using cardboard and tissue paper. Learn various decorative techniques, and leave with a finished piñata ready for your next party or gathering!
No experience is necessary. Pre-registration for this workshop is required. Registration fee includes instructor, materials, and administration fees. The class is for adults only (age 18 and over) and requires a minimum of 12 participants to hold.
$40 for HCCC members
$45 for Non-members
Workshops are subject to cancellation or change due to low enrollment. Registrants will be notified fourteen (14) days in advance if the workshop is cancelled by HCCC. If registrants need to cancel their reservation, they must do so at least 14 days in advance to receive a full refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to workshop date.
