Looking for writing inspiration? The Museum, Bayou Bend, and Rienzi join together to host a bimonthly writing group. Each session, led by a museum educator, focuses on an artwork, artist, or theme selected from the art collections or exhibitions.
The program begins with an introduction to an artwork, followed by a reading of poetry or prose. Participants then have "quiet time" to write and respond to the subject. The group concludes the session with an opportunity to share their written work and receive informal, non-directional feedback.
