Mindfulness Classes at The Health Museum

Sunday, Apr. 3, 2016 – Tuesday, May. 24, 2016

01:00 PM – 02:00 PM

Children ages 6-8 and one parent: Sundays, April 3 through May 22, 1-2 pm.

Children ages 9-11 and one parent: Sundays, April 3 through May 22, 2:30-3:30 pm.

No classes April 24 and May 9.

Ann Friedman, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist who has studied and practiced mindfulness for nine years and holds a Certification in Mindfulness Facilitation from the Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine at UCLA, will facilitate classes to release stress.  Taught in many schools across America, the training is helpful for children and parents who want to calm the churning thoughts in their heads, learn to feel and understand their emotions, and improve their concentration.   • Monday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Special exhibits may require an additional fee
  • The cost of the 6- week class covers one child and one parent/caregiver. Should a parent wish to enroll two children in one class, there will be an additional $30 charge for the second child. $230 Members | $260 Non-members There is an additional $30 charge for the second child.
