In Jackson Heights
Friday, Jan. 15, 2016
07:00 PM – 10:10 PM
For his 40th film, venerable documentarian Frederick Wiseman immerses us in the vibrant, diverse neighborhood of Jackson Heights in Queens, New York, where immigrants from dozens of countries speak more than 150 languages. You'll meet a cross-section of residents as they tackle various challenges in civic, religious, political, and cultural settings. This memorable portrait of a proud community is further enriched by scenes of lively parades, musical performances, and amazing food.
