In 1962, Alfred Hitchcock and François Truffaut locked themselves away in Hollywood for a week to talk about cinema. Truffaut’s many questions were answered, and expanded into a dialogue between colleagues. Based on the original recordings of the meeting, this documentary is a remarkable filmmaking master class. Hitchcock/Truffaut enhances the initial dialogue with observations about Hitchcock by leading contemporary filmmakers such as Wes Anderson, Peter Bogdanovich, David Fincher, Richard Linklater, Paul Schrader, and Martin Scorsese.

Stay for classic Hitchcock features following the documentary on Friday, December 11 (North by Northwest) and Saturday, December 12 (Rear Window). And don't miss Vertigo on Saturday, January 9!
