Join us at the Czech Center Museum Houston for a free musical concert featuring the Junior Dixieland Jazz Band!
For those who are unfamiliar, Dixieland also referred to as hot jazz or traditional jazz originated in New Orleans. Usually using standard instruments such as the trumpet, clarinet, trombone, horn and much more to complement its sound.
The Dixieland band has performed and made its musical mark in multiple formal settings across Texas and will now be visiting the Czech Center Museum Houston! The band will consist of 8 band members ranging from ages 12-19 years old, not including their 2 musical directors.
