Studies indicate that people in healthy relationships experience more happiness and manage stress better. When practiced regularly, yoga promotes healthy relationships, bringing couples together at different levels and strengthening connections.

► Meet in the Arts of India Gallery for a brief introduction. Afterward, the group moves to a conference room for a talk and yoga practice. Couples are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and to bring their yoga mats.

About the Workshop

About the Presenters
Smitha Mallaiah and Vishwarup Nanjundappa received their yoga-therapy training from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA) in Bangalore, India. They have taught yoga in India and Houston, and they serve as directors at VYASA Houston. Mallaiah also teaches in MD Anderson Cancer Center’s integrative medicine program, where she designs and teaches yoga intervention programs for different cancer populations.
