Since 1989, Writers in the Schools (WITS) has brought Houston school children to the Menil Collection where, through writing about the artworks they encounter, they learn the power of their own voices.
Students are chosen through a juried competition to be published in the Watchful Eye anthology and to read their work in this program at the Menil to culminate the school year.
This program is free and open to everyone. Seating is limited.
