As part of Core critic-in-residence Taraneh Fazeli's on-going curatorial project, Sick Time, Sleepy Time, Crip time: Against Capitalism's Temporal Bullying, Lawndale will host two related events as part of the programming series Warp and Weft of Care. Warp and Weft of Care kicks off with a performance by artist Fia Backström on the evening of Saturday, April 8th. In The Growth and Its Perennials, she investigates the effects of barely-visible forces on the body by considering the oscillating line between self and other/self and material.
